Fig Tree Nursery was established to provide a nurturing, caring, and inspiring early years environment for children within our community. Alhamdulillah, it is a privilege to be part of this journey, supporting our youngest learners during the most important stage of their development.

Our aim is to provide a safe and stimulating environment where every child is encouraged to grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence while developing a love for learning. Rooted in the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, we seek to nurture strong Islamic values alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping children develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically.

At Fig Tree Nursery, our values are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to instil kindness, respect, honesty, and compassion through everyday experiences, creating a warm and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported. Through play-based learning, meaningful interactions, and strong partnerships with parents, we lay firm foundations that prepare children for the next stage of their educational journey.

We greatly value the trust that families place in us and believe that working closely together is key to ensuring every child flourishes and reaches their full potential.

Your child is about to start Nursery. This is a very important stage in your child’s life and we are sure that it is a day that you will never forget!

We believe that ongoing communication between home and Nursery is essential to a child’s progress and development. You will receive regular information and newsletters to keep you informed about what is happening at the Nursery.

Aims and objectives:

To deliver the EYFS to the highest possible standards in an Islamic environment suitable for any child irrespective of their background or origin. We promote inclusion and diversity through daily activities alongside British Values.
To encourage each child to reach their full potential by taking part in stimulating activities that foster social interaction, communication, self-confidence and self-worth.
To provide early years that build on the child’s previous experiences to promote future learning and development of their physical, personal, emotional, social and intellectual abilities.
To create a learning environment that offers excellent quality of care and education through a broad and balanced curriculum.
Respect each child as an individual taking into account their appropriate needs.
