Nursery Schedule

At Fig Tree Nursery, we provide a well-structured daily routine that gives children a sense of security while allowing plenty of opportunities for exploration, creativity, and play. Our schedule is carefully planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring that learning takes place through a balance of adult-led activities and child-initiated play.

Each day begins with a warm welcome, allowing children time to settle into the nursery environment and engage in free play. Throughout the day, children participate in a variety of engaging experiences, including story time, early literacy and numeracy activities, creative arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor learning, role play, sensory exploration, and physical development activities.

We place great importance on outdoor play and active learning, recognising that children learn best through hands-on experiences. Healthy snacks and meal times are built into the daily routine, along with opportunities for rest, quiet reflection, and independent play, helping children develop positive habits and confidence.

Islamic values are naturally woven into our day through simple duas, stories, good manners, and acts of kindness, helping children develop a strong moral foundation alongside their academic and personal growth.

Our consistent yet flexible routine ensures that every child feels safe, happy, and supported while developing the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed for a successful transition to primary school.
