Fig Tree Primary School is Nottingham's first Islamic Primary School for boys and girls. The School was founded in January 2000 and has continued to grow with new classes opening in response to demand from parents. The school has always achieved good results in key stage 2 SATS.
As a Muslim school we work within an Islamic framework. We aim to provide the best possible education in a supportive and disciplined environment so that every student may prepare confidently for adult and working life. Our commitment is to help everyone to reach their full potential, including those of exceptional ability and those with learning difficulties.
Visitors to the School frequently remark upon the good Islamic atmosphere that prevails - there is a real sense of purpose and direction amongst staff and students. It is not surprising, therefore, that the quality of learning is high and that our examination results are excellent, representing achievement at the highest levels within Nottingham. Our students also have an enviable record of success at secondary school.
Our mission is to produce hardworking, well mannered and well informed young Muslims who are able to positively develop themselves and the society they live in through their knowledge, skills and good character. The greatest gift to a child is Education
We provide education to 5 - 11 year olds.
We teach National Curriculum subjects + Quran, Arabic and Islamic studies.
